I'm hoping somebody can help with this as it's been a thorn in my side for the past few days...

We have a project that we upgraded from the older RIA services to OpenRiaServices and although the application seems to function, we are getting several WCF trace warnings since it's been running on our server. We have the same issue no matter which one of our servers we test on but the messages we get are always the same.

Below are the messages we are getting from the SVCLOG trace log. I have noted them in sequential order.

First warning : The configuration system has detected a duplicate key in a different configuration scope and is overriding with the more recent value
(I imagine this is because it has to do with the overriding of maxMessageSize, etc.?)

Second warning: Configuration evaluation context not found
(From what i found around the internet it's because i don't have an endpoint setup for the service, although i just want to use the default Binary endpoint format and with the older RIA services i didn't have to create a custom endpoint binding).

</E2ETraceEvent>

The application is an SL5 web application. I'm using signed assemblies from OpenRiaServices and also using the latest version of the entity framework which is 6.1.3. It's hosted on IIS.

If needed i can attach a trimmed down version of our web.config file if needed and asked.

I appreciate any insight into how to troubleshoot this issue and resolve it as we are having issues on our servers with this version and i'm not sure if the issues we are having are related to this specific issue or another.

It sounds like you have some problems with you web.config.

Try to create an empty web.config and uninstall/reinstall open ria services to have it setup the minimum required config and see if that works.
